On a daily basis I am asked by small business people why would they consider using social media; how could Facebook possibly be useful to their business; and what benefit could social media possibly provide for a business.

There are many reasons and here, for the benefit of small and home based business owners, I will share one method, to help you understand the reasons you should consider using social media, particularly Facebook, as part of business strategies.

Do You Have Customers?

If you have existing customers, it is possible a high percentage of them experience buyers remorse after making a purchase from your business.

Research reveals a high percentage of consumers experience varying shades of regret, uncertainty or disappointment after spending money. Generally, the greater the price, the higher the emotions.

Buyers remorse occurs as the feeling of excitement surrounding a purchase fades and the consumer begins to reflect on the product/service, the price, and/or the time of purchase.

Improving Business Operations With Google Apps

First, Google changed the landscape of the Internet by making it easier to access and share information. Now the search engine giant is having a similar effect on the way companies do business with their online office software.

In just a few short years since its introduction, Google Apps for business use has grown to over three million companies and counting. The increasingly popular business application allows companies the online ability to perform many of the same functions as available in Microsoft Office, including creating spreadsheets and word processing documents. Users can also conduct voice conversations with clients or co-workers.

Calendar: Allows company meetings and events to be organized through a single platform that users can update remotely. Can schedule events and send out meeting invitations. Once an employee accepts an invitation, the appointment is automatically included in their calendar. A reminder shortly before the event is set to take place will be sent to confirmed guests via G-mail. Users can view multiple employee calendars simultaneously when trying to determine the best time to arrange a meeting.

With the ability to manage important administrative functions remotely, and share documents in a collaborative fashion with co-workers, it’s no wonder why Google Apps has emerged as a popular business tool for companies worldwide.

Let me start by saying that this is written by a gamer and as a gamer I consider a lot when comparing one online game rental service to another. Those words are; “selection”, “availability”, “accessibility” and “price” or SAAP. Let me break it down for you a bit further.

Selection:
Though every aspect of SAAP is crucial for a successful online game rental service, selection holds a bit more weight than availability, accessibility or price. Companies need to be able to offer not only what is new but also the games that are not so new anymore that we still enjoy playing. You can pre-buy video games but why can’t you pre-rent them? Price is price guys. Let’s face it no rental service for video games is going to cost you or save you thousands of dollars each month and while it’s important to save what you can why pay $3 dollars less to be frustrated. Now that is not to say that you have to pay more. Many of the best online game rental services can afford to give you the best deals and hence the best of SAAP available.
